Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After Breakfast, Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Known for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant populations, Tarangire offers classic African landscapes teeming with wildlife. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many antelope species along the Tarangire River.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, drive to your lodge or tented camp near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, enter the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is famous for its lush groundwater forests, thousands of flamingos, and unique tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a morning game drive, with opportunities to see elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 species of birds.

After lunch and some relaxation, proceed to Karatu or the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight, as you prepare for the next day’s crater adventure.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Africa. The crater is home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — along with countless other species living in the lush grasslands and around the crater lake.

Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening.
